WaterWays Township, a 2,300-acre gated master-planned community in south Bryan County, recently was named “Community of the Year” by the Home Builders Association of Greater Savannah.
According to a news release, WaterWays was honored for its comprehensive approach to the creation of this exceptional master-planned community and for its delivery of quality residential homes and home sites.
The community also was recognized for its respect and preservation of the land’s natural attributes and for encouraging a coastal lifestyle influenced by an extensive collection of recreational amenities, outdoor activities and social interaction.
The approach to sharing the story of WaterWays through an integrated, multi-layered marketing strategy was another criterion for which the community was recognized.
WaterWays also credits its success to the health of Savannah’s business environment and the corresponding growth and expansion of local industries.
“Being recognized by the Homebuilders Association as ‘Community of the Year’ is very exciting for our development team and is validation that our peers acknowledge the effort and commitment we are making to this community and to the families who are choosing to live with us,” WaterWays Township marketing director Vance Askew said.
WaterWays Township features more than 450 acres of recreation and open spaces, miles of nature and biking trails, and the history of Old Cottenham Plantation Park.
