Beverly Cosmann of Richmond Hill has been named the new general manager of the Richmond Hill City Center.
The announcement was made Tuesday by Kristin Kurie, president of the South Carolina-based The Wilderman Group, which manages the City Center.
“Beverly is an efficient and organized hospitality professional with exceptional skills in new business development, contract negotiation, budget management, vendor relations, and logistic planning,” Kurie said. “Beverly demonstrates a commitment to outstanding customer service and high-quality standards.
“We are very excited to welcome Beverly to the Richmond Hill City Center and to work closely with her to bring RHCC to another level of guest satisfaction.”
Cosmann brings more than 15 years of hospitality experience to the position, having worked with prestigious hotel companies across Georgia in positions that include convention services manager and catering sales manager at the Westin Buckhead Atlanta, and director of catering at the Hilton Savannah Desoto
“Beverly has the ideal background in high-end hospitality management for the position of General Manager at RHCC,” Kurie said.
In her role as general manager, Cosmann will continue to represent the 4-year-old Richmond Hill City Center to the community, metro Savannah and the coastal region for weddings, meetings and special events.
In addition, she will manage the day-to-day operations of the facility to achieve the established financial targets for the center and will be responsible for preparing budgets, marketing strategies and managing expectations for the new multi-use facility.
Her responsibilities will also include stewardship of the property’s innovative sustainable hospitality programs.
Cosmann holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Texas State University.  She also is certified in fashion design and management from the Guild of London and has a diploma in fashion design and management from FDMC-Johannesburg, South Africa.
For the past five years she has been a certified meeting professional (CMP) from the Convention Industry Council and has been a guest lecturer on several occasions at the University of Georgia Center for Continuing Education lecturing on food and beverage.
