Patty Gunderson marked the opening of her new business, Way Station Coffee Co., at 10610 Ford Ave. Thursday with a grandopening and ribbon cutting.
Besides her daughter, Whitney Evans, and daughter-in-law, Tara Evans, others on hand to celebrate the occasion included several Richmond Hill-Bryan County Chamber of Commerce ambassadors and board member, as well as Richmond Hill Mayor Harold Fowler and Richmond Hill Council member Johnny Murphy.
All of Way Station’s coffee and espresso comes from Savannah-based roaster PERC Coffee, and the menu includes breakfast sandwiches, quiche, chicken salad sandwiches, pastries and more. The shop is open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday.
