Wildcats get win
Richmond Hill High School knocked off Glynn Academy 59-49 on Tuesday in Brunswick in a boys’ Region 3-AAAAA basketball matchup. The girls fell 57-29 to the Terrors to drop to 4-2 overall.
Richmond Hill played host to Jenkins on Friday in a Region 3-AAAAA doubleheader. The Wildcats and Lady Wildcats travel to Vidalia on Saturday for nonregion matchups, then are off until Dec. 27 when they face Metter in the Bryan County Classic.

Redskins get sweep
Bryan County High School notched its second win of the basketball season on Tuesday, knocking off Screven County 64-57 in Sylvania, The win improves the Redskins to 2-3 overall. The girls won the opener 49-43 to improve to 4-2 overall.
Both teams played host to Atkinson County High School on Friday in a Region 2-AA doubleheader. They travel to Toombs County for another region doubleheader tonight and then play host to Claxton on Tuesday night.

Wildcats wrestling
The Richmond Hill High School wrestling team improved to 14-1 after Tuesday’s home meet.
The Wildcats outpointed Savannah Arts 72-6, Islands 57-15 and 45-36, Hilton Head 48-28 and split with South Effingham, downing the Mustangs 40-38 and losing 39-33.
“The kids are wrestling well and we have are getting better each week,” RHHS coach Robert Parker said. “Seniors Zach Perez, Zach Bringer, and William Benson are leading the way right now.  Juniors Grant Foy, Gary Tompkins , Jonah Weed, Bryce Mayfield, and Caleb Branham are providing great support for the seniors.  We have the Rebel duals this weekend and should have a good feel for where we are this season.”
