Gib Robinson, president of the Richmond Hill Friends of the Library, faces the questions this week.

1. What do you feel is your greatest achievement?
My wife, Bernie, of almost 50 years. Without her I would not have two beautiful daughters, three great grandboys, and two adorable grandgirls.

I am pretty happy now. We’ve lived in Richmond Hill for 10 years. It is a great place to live. We have met some of the best people you would ever want to know.

3. What one material possession would you save in the event of a fire (assuming your family was safe)?
While not really a member of the family, I would save our Yorkie-Poo, Pepper II. He does think we are his humans.

4. What’s the best advice you’ve ever been given?
 “It’s all small stuff.”

5. If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
I would be skinnier.

Wondering what the world, and the USA, will be like for my grandkids.

Star Trek’s Jean-Luc Picard.

8. What is your greatest extravagance?
Books.

Becoming a better photographer.

10. What is your favorite thing about yourself?
I am content with life.

11. What trait do you most admire in another person?
Loyalty.

Dishonesty.

Credence Clearwater Revival, New Chrity Minstrels, Eva Cassidy, Charlotte Church, Emmy Lou Harris.
