The BCHS boys and girls track teams had a meet on Wednesday against Southeast Bulloch and Tattnall County. Although both teams came in third, there were some strong individual performances.
First place showings included Darrell McElroy in the 100 meter race, William West in the 3200 meter race, Alkeem Collins in the high jump, and Ashleigh Jones in the triple jump.
The teams’ next competition will be March 21 at home against South Effingham and Bluffton.
