The 23rd annual Miss Bryan County High School Pageant will be at 3 p.m. May 11 at Lanier Primary School.
The age divisions are Baby Miss (ages 0–11 months), Teeny Miss (ages 1–2), Tiny Miss (ages 3–5), Little Miss (ages 6–8), Petite Miss (ages 9–11), Junior Miss (ages 12–14), and Miss BCHS (grades nine–12).
Miss BCHS contestants must attend Bryan County High School.
The theme for this year’s pageant is “Spirit and Pride.” All contestants will compete in “Spirit and Pride” wear and formal wear. “Spirit and Pride” wear may include school colors (red, white, black), Redskin athletic wear, Native American wear or the outfit of choice.
All Miss BCHS contestants will have a 5-minute interview with the judges and answer an on-stage question.
Contestants must wear long dresses for the formal-wear competition, and business attire for the interview is suggested. There will be no opening dance routine.
Applications can be picked up at Lanier Primary School, Bryan County Elementary School, Bryan County Middle School and Bryan County High School. The entry fee is $40 per contestant.
Deadline to enter the pageant is May 3.
The pageant is sponsored by the Bryan County High School Boosters Club and Lanier Primary School.
