Richmond Hill High School will present “Seussical” at 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday at Richmond Hill Elementary School.
Advanced tickets are $5 for students and $8 for adults. At the door, tickets will be $6 for students and $10 for adults. Advanced tickets will be on sale from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. through Thursday in the cafeteria at RHHS.

Memorial dedication
The dedication of the Bryan County Fallen Firefighter’s Memorial will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at 66 Captain Matthew Freeman Drive in Richmond Hill.
There also will be a memorial service for fallen Bryan County firefighter Terry Nielson during the dedication.
The memorial was erected to honor members of the Bryan County Emergency Services and Pembroke and Richmond Hill Fire Departments in the event of a line-of-duty death.

Easter events
The first ever EPIC Easter Egg Hunt at Consumed Church is set for 10 a.m. Saturday at 388 Longwood Drive in Richmond Hill.
The free event will include 10,000 Easter eggs for hunting and inflatable slides and bounce houses for all ages. Hot dogs, chips and drinks will be available for sale with all proceeds going towards the church’s mission trip to Haiti this summer.

The annual Easter Extravaganza hosted by New Beginnings Community Church will begin at 11 a.m. March 30 in J.F. Gregory Park with more than 30,000 plastic eggs ready for the taking.
After the egg hunt, there will be free hot dogs, drinks and chips, along with free pictures with the Easter Bunny. Bounce houses, games and entertainment will also be provided.

The Pembroke Downtown Development Authority and Pembroke United Methodist Church will host the Eggstravaganza Easter Egg Hunt beginning at 9 a.m. March 30 in the downtown area.
The event will feature the traditional egg hunt with small prizes in some eggs. The Easter Bunny will be in attendance and prize baskets will be given away. This event also marks the opening of the city’s Whistlestop Farmers Market.

CATS PRIDE night
The annual CATS PRIDE Night for eighth-graders and their parents will be from 6-9 p.m. March 27 at Richmond Hill High School.
CATS PRIDE — which stands for Communicating Achievement with Teachers, Students and Parents Results in Developing Excellence — is a program to help eighth-graders transition better to high school.  
More than 35 extra-curricular activities will be represented during this event.  Parents and students will be able to talk with representatives and get involved with teams and clubs.
The RHHS band, cheerleaders, chorus and JROTC will perform throughout the evening.

Congressional Day Office
A representative of Congressman Jack Kingston’s office will be in Bryan County to meet with anyone who needs assistance with a federal agency.
This Congressional Day Office will be from 9-11 a.m. March 28 at Richmond Hill City Hall.

Native American event
Fort Morris State Historic Site will host a Native American event from 1-3 p.m. March 30 at the site in Midway.
Jim Sawgrass of the Muskogee Creek Indian Tribe will be on site to give two presentations on Native American life, their tools, their weapons and their role in the American Revolution. Sawgrass has enthralled groups of all ages across the southeast for more than 25 years with his knowledge and skills of Native American life.
Admission is $3-4.50.
