12-and-under girls

Gary Walker’s Hendrix Park Heat played Garden City. For the Heat Taylor Butler pitched the first ending and Victoria Pruitt pitched the second ending making the Heat’s record 3 and 0 for the season. Alana Walker was 2 for 3 with 2 walks, a home run, 3 runs scored, and 7 RBI’s making her the MVP of the game and she received the game ball. Seniorita Ivey was 2 for 2 with a home run, 2 walks and 3 runs scored.

Taylor Butler was 2 for 3 with 2 walks and 3 runs scored. Victoria Pruitt was 2 for 2 with 3 walks and 4 runs scored. Kaitlyn Meekins was 2 for 2 with 3 walks and 4 runs scored. Aaliyah Carter was 1 for 1 with 3 walks and 4 runs scored.

Maigan Gibson was 1 for 1 with 3 walks and 3 runs scored. Maegan Payne, Ashley Shiver and Kennedy Godwin all scored 4 runs.

The final score was the Heat 36, Garden City 2.

April 24

12-and-under girls

Hendrix Park Heat played Bloomingdale. Taylor Butler pitched a no hitter. Seniorita Ivey had a great night that included a home run, 2 runs scored and great defensive play on a centerfield pop up to earn her MVP and the game ball. Alana Walker, 2 for 2 with 1 run and 3 RBI’s.

Aaliyah Carter, 1 for 1 with 1 run. Ashley Shiver, 1 for 1 with a double and 1 run. Maegan Payne, 1 for 1 with a run. Victoria Pruitt, Taylor Butler and Maigan Gibson all scored a run. The final was the Heat 9 and Bloomingdale 4.

 

April 25

8-and-under boys

Hendrix Park Green Machine coached by Robbie Daniels played the Stingrays coached by Kevin Taylor. For the Green Machine Landon Tinsley was 3 for 3 with a home run and 3 runs scored. Jarrett Brown was 3 for 3 with 2 home runs and 3 runs scored. Hunter Warnell was 3 for 3 with 2 triples and a run. Jarred Magnotti was 3 for 2 with 2 runs scored. Dustin Acain was 3 for 1 with a run scored. Jake Marks was 2 for 3 with a double, a home run and 2 runs scored. Garrett Joyce 2 for 3 with a double and 2 runs scored. Tal Godwin was 2 for 3 with a double and a run scored. For the Stingrays David Friedberg was 1 for 2 with a run scored.

Brent Leggett and Jason Strickland were 1 for 2. Devan Sutherland and Christopher Taylor were 2 for 2 with a run scored each. Cody Cameron was 2 for 2. The final score was the Green Machine with 15 and the Stingrays 3.

 

14-and-under boys

Hendrix Park 1, coached by Keith McCoy, played Hendrix Park 2 coached by Frank Foster. For Hendrix Park 1 Jimmy Calhoun was 1 for 1 with a double and a run scored. Shane Dillion was 1 for 3 with a triple and a run scored. Corey Cook was 2 for 2 with 2 doubles 1 run scored and a sacrifice for the win in the last inning. Brandon Miller was 2 for 2 with 2 doubles. Dalton Cook, Preston Davis and Dalton Walker all scored a run. For Hendrix Park 2 Matthew Herb was 1 for 2 with 2 runs scored and a home run.

Bradley Sullivan was 1 for 2 with a run scored. Jacob Powell scored 2 runs. Kevin Billman scored a run. This was a very exciting game. The final score was Hendrix Park 1 with 7 and Hendrix Park 2 with 6.

 

April 29

8-and-under boys

The Bulldogs, coached by Mike Howard, played the Green Machine coached by Robbie Daniels. For the Bulldogs Terron Dixon was 1 for 3 with a run scored. Trey Butler was 3 for 3 with a run scored. Hunter Howard, Gavin Swiney, Luke Dyal, Hunter Lee and Parker Smith were all 1 for 2. Mitchell Young,

Dane Hires and Caleb Achen were all 1 for 2 with a run scored each. For the Green Machine Landon Tinsley and Hunter Warnell were both 2 for 3 with 2 runs scored each. Jarrett Brown was 3 for 3 with 3 runs scored. Jarred Magnotti was 3 for 3 with 2 runs scored. Jake Marks and Garrett Joyce were 2 for 3. Tal Godwin was 1 for 3 with a run scored. The final score was the Bulldogs 5 and the Green Machine 10.

The Redskins coached by Jason Livie played Sassy Sisters coached by Daniel Sapp. For Sassy Sisters Lauren Shiver was 3 for 3 with a triple and 2 runs scored. Morgan Williams was 3 for 3 with a run scored. Courtnie Bacon was 2 for 3 with a run scored. Sarah Coursey and Laurissa Shuman were both 1 for 3 with a run scored each. Ashlynn Bennett was 2 for 3. Sarah Moyer was 1 for 2. Victoria Sapp was 3 for 3. For the Redskins Paityn Marks was 2 for 4 with 2 runs scored. Hailey Hutchinson was 4 for 4 with a double and a run scored. Taylor Victor was 3 for 3 with a triple, a home run and 2 runs scored. McKenzie Livie got her first hit of the season and a RBI. Chyenne Bell was 1 for 3 with a run scored. Chloe McKinney was 3 for 3 with a run scored. Jordan Cook was 2 for 3. The final score was the Redskins 7 and the Sassy Sisters 6.

The Redskins coached by Larry Mingledorff played the Green Machine coached by Robbie Daniels. For the Redskins Bryce Stephens and Chanon Mingledorff were 2 for 3 with a run scored each. For the Green Machine Landon Tinsley and Jarrett Brown were both 3 for 4 with 2 runs scored each. Jarred Magnotti was 1 for 4 with a run scored. Hunter Warnell was 4 for 4 with 3 runs scored. Jake Marks was 3 for 4 with a run scored. Garrett Joyce was 1 for 34 Tal Godwin was 1 for 4 with a run scored. The final score was the Redskins 2 and the Green Machine 11.
