Twenty-six students made it to the finals of the Carver Elementary 2007 Spelling Bee. After numerous rounds, it came down to two: Brian Cox and Katie Threatt (pictured above). After an exciting final round, Katie emerged the champion by correctly spelling the word “congregation”. Katie will now advance to the upcoming county competition.
