Candlelight service: Bryan Neck Missionary Baptist Church will host its annual Holy Communion Candlelight Worship Service at 5 p.m. Sunday at the church at 16525 Highway 144.
Help lift up the name of Jesus through praise, worship and fellowship. For more information, call 727-2163.

Library closure
The Richmond Hill Public Library will be closed from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Tuesday due to a staff workshop in Statesboro. The library will be open from 2-7 p.m. that day.

Legion party
Active-duty military families in the Pembroke/Ellabell area are invited to the American Legion Post 164 Christmas Party at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the post home, a quarter-mile past Harvey’s Grocery on the Highway 280 West.
Santa is expected to stop by, and dinner will be served; meats, bread, tea, coffee, etc., will be provided, but members are asked to bring a side dish.

Educators meeting
The Bryan-Evans Retired Educators Association will meet at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Lanier Primary School on Highway 280.

Wreaths for Warriors
The sixth annual Wreaths for Warriors Walk Ceremony will be at noon Dec. 15 at Cottrell Field on Fort Stewart. The public is invited.
The cost to sponsor a wreath is $15. To sponsor online, go to w4ww.org or find the group on Facebook. To sponsor by check, mail to Wreaths for Warriors Walk, c/o Anthony Justi, P.O. Box 3533, Fort Stewart, GA 31315.

Firefighters needed
The Bryan County Fire Department needs volunteers. No experience is necessary; training will be provided, including the opportunity to become a certified firefighter in the state of Georgia.
