With the program's first state playoff berth since 1996 wrapped up, Richmond Hill High School's football team wrapped up the regular season with an exclamation point on Thursday night, blistering Windsor Forest 50-3 at Memorial Stadium in Savannah.

The Wildcats improved to 8-2 overall, the program's best-ever regular sesaon mark, and now wait to see where they finish in the Region 3-AAAAA standings. The Wildcats are 5-2 in the region and trail Ware County (6-0) and Effingham (5-1).

Senior running back David Katzman led RHHS offensively with 105 yards and two first-half TDs on 13 carries. Quarterback Dominique Allen added 63 yards rushing and two TDs and a 14-yard TD pass to junior receiver Nick Fitzgerald, and kicker Canon Rooker added a 42-yard field goal, all in the first half as RHHS went in at halftime leading 36-3.

Katzman surpassed the 1,000 yd mark for the season on his first carry of the night, currently sitting at 1101 on the season to date.

Junior running back Michael Clark had two carries for 36 yards and one TD and sophomore quarterback MJ Hall added a 13 yd touchdown run.

Linebacker Demtrius Williams led the defense with six tackles and a pair of interceptions.

Junior linebacker Zahne Roberts had four tackles and senior defensive tackle Taylor Hayes added two tackles for the Wildcats.
