Taylor Hayes, center, is the Rotary Club of Richmond Hill’s Junior Rotarian for the month of October. With him is Richmond Hill High School principal Helen Herndon and club President-elect Larry Barker.

Herndon described Hayes as determined, dedicated, focused and humble. “He has won a full scholarship to Alabama State University and is a football star at Richmond Hill High School,” she said. “In his spare time, he supports the American Heart Association and is active in voluntary beach sweep clean ups.”
