Sure, the season's only three weeks old. Some folks are already looking way down the road.

Like the guys at Georgia High School Football Daily. They've projected the teams and matchups for the first round of the playoffs for all but Class A, which is a bit of a different nut to crack now that ... well, it's complicated.

What isn't too hard to figure out is that Richmond Hill High School (2-0) has benefited from its move up to Class AAAAA by moving into to Region 3-AAAAA, which historically has been the weakest of the state's eight AAAAA regions. Savannah public schools rarely fare well in high school football.

That's good news for Richmond Hill.

The Wildcats, a vastly improved program under third-year coach Lyman Guy, are projected to be the No. 3 seed from 3-AAAAA, behind No. 1 seed Ware County and No. 2 seed Glynn Academy. Jenkins is projected as the No. 4 seed -- a sign that once mighty Bradwell Institute has yet to find the cure what ails the Tigers, now mired in a two or is it three-year slump?

As the No. 3 seed, the Wildcats will face Warner Robins. If, of course, these projections prove to be accurate in about eight weeks or so.

Here's a look at the Georgia High School Football Daily projections for AAAAA. 3-AAAAA teams and their projected opponents are in bold:
