Richmond Hill High School swept Bryan County in a basketball doublehader Tuesday night in Pembroke.

The Lady Wildcats (8-1) won the girls game 60-44 behind 21 points from Aliyah Johnson -- who scored her 1,000th career point in the game -- and 16 from Keisha Durham. Diamond Mcgirt had 21 to lead the Lady Redskins (3-2), currently ranked No. 9 in Class A.

In the nightcap, Alex Cruz scored 14 points to lead Richmond Hill to a 73-51 win over the Redskins. James Williams added 13 points and Zach Stegner had 10 for Richmond Hill (4-2). Bryan County's Jaylen Rawls scored five points in the first quarter to help the improved Redskins (0-4) jump out to an 8-0 lead in the first period. Rawls finished with a game-high 19 points.
