Metter topped Bryan County High School 21-6 on Friday night in Pembroke, sending the Redskins to their first loss of the season.

Damion Dixon caught a 58-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Jacob White in the first quarter, but Metter led 7-6 at halftime and scored 14 unanswered points in the fourth quarter -- including a touchdown with a minute remaining -- to seal the win.

The Redskins fall to 5-1 overall and 1-1 in Region 3A-A.

Bryan County will host Calvary Day School in Redskin Stadium Friday Oct. 14 at 7:30 p.m.
