Edward and Betty Mae Edenfield of Blitchton celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Oct. 6, 2007 at the family farm in Swainsboro, Ga. with many family members.

The couple received gifts and was presented with 50th anniversary memorabilia. They were married on Oct. 5, 1957 at the courthouse in Swainsboro. The retired couple enjoys gardening and taking care of their farm animals.
