A damaged storm drain on Fair View Drive in the Sterling Links golf community at Richmond Hill Plantation that has raised some concern, especially for one resident, may finally be getting repaired.

Gina Jablonski said the curb-side storm drain near her home has been damaged, complete with busted concrete and exposed rebar, for more than three months. “I called zoning to report the issue, and they came out a few days later,” Jablonski said. “Nothing was ever done.”
That was until Tuesday, when city officials went to the site to rope off the storm drain.

City Manager Mike Melton said Tuesday morning that he was unaware of any problems with the drain in question. But by that afternoon he said the problem was taken care of.

“We have to order a new drain top,” he said.
