Army Reserve Spc. Tyler S. Dietz, a 2008 graduate of Richmond Hill High School, is returning to the United States after a deployment to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
Dietz and other soldiers return to Joint Base Dix-McGuire-Lakehurst, N.J., for debriefing, evaluations and out-processing procedures before returning to their regularly assigned Army Reserve or National Guard units.
The specialist, an intelligence analyst with three years of military service, regularly is assigned to the 359th Tactical Theatre Signal Brigade, based out of Fort Gordon in Augusta, Ga.
His parents are Jacqueline F. Kidd of Richmond Hill and William B. Dietz of Statesboro.
