The Bryan County High School girls track team dominated the opposition on April 7, taking first place in seven of 15 events against a field that included Calvary, Savannah Christian and St. Vincent's Academy.
The boys also claimed a first place finish.
Girls
1st place finishers: Tiffany Howard, 800, 1,600, triple jump; Alli Thompson, 100-meter hurdles; Kim Williams, 300 hurdles, high jump; 4x100 relay (Whitney Fields, Sierra newman, Williams, Howard, Seniorita Ivey, Thompson).
2nd place: Satashala Beasley, high jump; 4x400 relay (Taylor Butler, Newman, Williams, Howard); Williams, 400.
3rd place: Newman, long jump, 100, 200.
Boys
1st place Caleb Cannon, triple jump.
2nd place: Jacquez Page 110 hurdles; Trent Minis, long jump; 4x100 relay (Cannon, Minis, Stephon Fennell, Raekwon Love).
3rd place: Minis, 1,600; Patrick O'Connell, 110 hurdles; Chrys Pickard, 300 hurdles; Mannie Smith, long jump; Jaylan Rawls, high jump; Page, triple jump; 4x400 relay (Cannon. Troy Robertson, Smith, Minis); Love, 100; Dashon Dixon, 200; Logan York, shot put.
The girls outscored Tattnall County 178-175 to take first place. The boys finished second with 153 points. Tattnall County placed first with 242 points.
The Redskins wrap up the regular season on Thursday at home. Region 3-A preliminaries are April 19 at Georgia Southern. Finals are April 21 at GSU.
