The Bryan County High School girls basketball team continues to reap the rewards of an outstanding season with five players earning postseason honors.
Senior Olivia Melvin was named first-team All-State by the Georgia Athletic Coaches Association. Melvin, Tiffany Howard and Satashala Beasley were named first-team All-Region 3-A while Whitney Fields and Kim Williams were named second-team All-Region.
The Lady Redskins finished 27-4 and 10-1 in Region 3A-A, winning both the regular season and conference tournament crowns. Bryan County advanced to the Sweet 16 of the state playoffs.
