No. 2 ranked Wayne County shut out Richmond Hill 10-0 in six innings Tuesday night in a Region 2A-AAAA matchup in Jesup.
Tyler Palmer got the win and G.P. Rainwater had a 3-run home run for the Yellow Jackets. Kevin Matthews (1-1) took the loss for Richmond Hill, which fell to 3-2 overall and 0-1 in the subregion.
