Bryan County High School fell 59-46 to Turner County in the second round of the girls' state Class A playoffs tonight in Pembroke.
The Lady Redskins (27-4) were led by Tiffany Howard with 21 points. Senior standout Olivia Melvin was slowed by an injury.
Turner County (24-6) took a first-quarter lead and never trailed after that. Bryan County pulled to within 22-21 at halftime but couldn't get pull ahead in the second half.
Kadriana Howard had 22 points for Turner County and Shabreka Edwards finished with 18.
