Bryan County High School beat Calhoun County 67-45 on Friday in the first round of the state Class A girls basketball tournament.
Olivia Melvin led all scorers with 29 points and hit seven 3-pointers.

Kim Williams added 13 points for the Lady Redskins.

Bryan County plays host to the winner of a first-round contest between Turner County and Taylor County. The game will be Tuesday at 6 p.m.
