A Long County teenager who authorities believe was involved in at least two home invasions in the area is still on the loose.
Derrick Davis, 17, who is a suspect in an Oct. 30 incident and a Dec. 7 incident on Arnold Drive, is considered armed and dangerous.
Anyone with information on Davis’ whereabouts should call the Ludowici Police Department at 545-9472 or the Long County Sheriff’s Office at 545-2118. Any information provided will be kept confidential.
In other law enforcement news, LCSO Investigator Tom Sollosi said Clifford Earl Moody was arrested Dec. 6 for possession of
a firearm by a convicted felon. Moody was on parole when the arrest occurred.
Sollosi also said Jordan Chase Thomas and Norberto Negron III were both arrested Dec. 9 for allegedly breaking into a mobile home on McDonald Street.
No one was home at the time of the break-in, but the suspects were charged with theft by taking and criminal damage to property after they allegedly stole a refrigerator and copper and aluminum wiring from a wall unit air conditioner.
